Priyanka Chopra onboards Oscar-shortlisted ‘Anuja’ as Executive Producer
Actress-producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas has come onboard for the short film ‘Anuja’ as an executive producer.
Los Angeles is grappling with the catastrophic Palisades Fire, which has destroyed homes, closed major roads, and forced tens of thousands to evacuate. The wildfire, described as one of the most destructive in the region, continues to spread at an alarming pace, leaving residents and authorities on edge. Actor Priyanka Chopra, currently residing in Los Angeles, took to Instagram to share her concern about the unfolding crisis in Palisades.
Posting a video of the raging fire, she wrote, “My thoughts are with everyone affected. Hope we are all able to be safe tonight.”

According to reports, the Palisades Fire has scorched over 2,900 acres, consuming nearly five football fields of land every minute.

Los Angeles officials have declared a state of emergency, warning that the situation could worsen due to fierce winds that are fueling the flames and complicating firefighting efforts.

As the fire crept closer to key routes like Sunset Boulevard, authorities instructed drivers to abandon their vehicles and evacuate immediately. Firefighters have been working tirelessly to contain the blaze, but their efforts hampered overnight by worsening conditions.
The devastation has left Southern California in turmoil, with thousands displaced and widespread damage reported. Emergency teams are racing to manage evacuations and provide relief to affected residents.
On the work front amid this Palisades chaos, Priyanka Chopra is returning in the second season of ‘Citadel’, directed by the Russo Brothers. Additionally, the actor will star alongside John Cena and Idris Elba in the action-thriller ‘Heads of State’ and take on the role of a former pirate in the period drama ‘The Bluff’.
